Salon Guidelines

Last updated 25 August 2026

These guidelines keep Salonix trustworthy for customers and fair for salons. We check listings against them before approval, and while they're live.

Be a real, operating salon

List only a salon you own or are authorised to manage, at the address where it actually operates. The verification documents you provide must be genuine and belong to that salon.

Keep your listing accurate

  • Use your real salon name, services, prices and opening hours, and keep them current.
  • Photos should be of your own salon — not stock images or another business's premises.
  • Don't advertise services you can't or won't perform.

Honour the queue and bookings

Serve customers in the order your queue shows, and treat a booking or held position as a commitment. If you need to pause or close, use the in-app controls so waiting customers are told.

Treat customers fairly

  • Charge the prices you've listed; don't add surprise fees at the counter.
  • Serve customers without unlawful discrimination.
  • Keep to reasonable hygiene and safety standards for your services.

Sell plans and combos honestly

If you sell prepaid plans or combos, describe clearly what they include, what they cost and how long they're valid, and honour them for customers who bought them. What a customer already holds must not be shortened or withdrawn.

Keep reviews and ratings genuine

Don't create fake bookings, reviews or ratings, and don't pressure customers to leave a particular rating. Feedback must reflect real visits.

What's not allowed

  • Fraud, impersonation, or false documents.
  • Illegal services, or services you are not licensed to provide.
  • Harassing customers or staff, or misusing their contact details.

If something's off

Where a listing falls short, we may ask the owner to fix it, request changes, or — for serious or repeated issues — suspend the listing. Our full terms are in the Terms & Conditions. Questions? Email support@salonix.app.
