This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We ask for the least we need to run the queue and keep salons genuine.

What we collect

Account details — your name and the phone or email you sign in with.
Salon details — for owners: your salon's name, address, services, prices, hours and team.
Location — approximate location to show nearby salons and place you in the right queue. We ask your device's permission first.
Verification documents — for salon owners, the documents you upload so we can confirm the salon is real.
Usage — bookings, queue activity and basic device information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To run the live queue, estimate turn times, and record visits and payments a salon confirms.
To help customers discover nearby, genuine salons.
To verify salons and prevent fraud, impersonation and abuse.
To provide support and to keep the service safe and reliable.

Location data

Location is used to show nearby salons and to place you in the correct queue. It is requested from your device only when needed, and you can decline or revoke it in your device settings — some discovery features simply won't work without it.

Verification documents

Documents a salon owner uploads are used solely to verify the salon. They are visible to our review team and are retained only as long as needed for verification and our legal obligations, then removed.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

With a salon you interact with, to the extent needed to serve you (for example, your name in its queue).
With service providers who host or support the platform, under confidentiality obligations.
Where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Your choices

You can review and update your account and salon details in the app.
You can manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.
You can ask us to access or delete your data by emailing support@salonix.app, subject to records we must keep by law.

Security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date above.
